BVIMSR’s Journal of Management Research (BJMR) is an International journal, which aims at publishing high quality research findings in all the various disciplines of business management. There is a constant need for innovation in Management thinking to come up with appropriate solutions to the current business problems. BJMR invites research papers, articles, case studies, book reviews & comments from the world of management. Hence we invite both academicians & practitioners to come forward with their thoughts in the form of research papers or articles. BJMR welcomes and honours devoted understanding of issues in the management of global enterprises, management theory & practice and providing theoretical and management implications useful for further development of the research.

BJMR will be a Bi-annual publication and will be available in the printed form. Electronic submissions (MS-Word) of research papers, case studies, and book review in all areas of business management are invited. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by email.

All papers will be subjected to a blind review process constituting of experts from institutions in and outside India.

Subject Areas:

The journal will contain research papers, articles, case studies, book review, summary of reports on various management concepts and practices. In addition the journal invites manuscripts covering application of theory to real life management activities where the findings would be of interest to researchers, executives, academicians and management students.

The journal will include articles and papers with in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, International Business, Information Technology, Quantitative Techniques, and General Management.

Subject Areas:

1. For Submission:

COVERING LETTER: Title of the paper, Author’s Name, Designation, Organization, Official Address, Personal Address, Contact Numbers (Official & Personal) and e-mail address.

ABSTRACT: Should contain in brief - Objectives, Research Questions / Hypothesis,, Methodology, Findings and 5-6 Keywords.

Word Limit: 250-300 words


Copies: Two hardcopies of the complete paper and One Softcopy

Format: A-4 Size, MS-Word

Word Limit: Not to exceed 5000 words

Font: Times New Roman,

Font Size: Heading – 14, Text – 12

Margin: 1.5-inch on all four sides

Line Spacing: 2

2. Format of the Paper:

Title: Title should not be more than 6-8 words.

Definitions: Paper should be clear and concise with proper definitions for specialized terms.

Sections: Introduction, Objectives, Research Questions / Hypothesis, Methodology, Findings / Results, Conclusions / Recommendations and

Limitations, 5-6 Key Words.

Annexure: Tables, Charts, Graphs, Quotations, Equations, Articles should be numbered, cited and referenced properly.

Abbreviations: Any Abbreviations used should be written in full at first followed by the abbreviations in the parenthesis.

Referencing: The Harvard System should be used in referencing.

Foot Notes: Should be numbered consecutively in the text and should be typed on same page they are denoted.

3. Declaration:

Author must declare originality of work. The article should not have been published or be submitted for publication elsewhere.

4.The Journal neither charges any processing fee nor pays any honorarium to the authors.

5.Author will receive one complementary copy of the journal.

6.Editorial Board’s decision will be final.

7.The copyright of all accepted papers will vest with BJMR.
